It was the Kodak Instamatic commercials on tv when I was a kid, that is what triggered my interest in photography. From that point in my life I knew that I would have a camera in my hands and make photographs for a living.
My photographic career has spanned over 20+ years; from working as a photojournalist at a daily newspaper, to photographing villas in Tuscany, Italy for an advertising agency, to capturing moments and memories at weddings throughout Colorado.
Another passion of mine, a cause which is very close to my heart, is the non-profit division of my photography company, Cheryl Ungar Gives. I am the president and founder of The Wedding Pink, an annual, heartfelt wedding giveaway package presented to a couple whose lives have been recently touched by breast cancer.
